If you want to start up in retail but just can't afford to get started, The STORE in Keighley is offering an exciting opportunity for budding entrepreneurs.
 
The STORE is a purpose built shop with nine pods in which different businesses can test-trade their business idea for up to twelve months. However, the great-value retail space is only part of the attraction. The STORE offers specialist support and training, and the business owners get the opportunity to work with other people in the same position, doing the same things, and facing the same problems.
 
But what's the Deal? All you need to do is present your retail idea to a Dragons' Den style (but not as intimidating) panel of local, friendly, business advisors. There is free help available if you want to write a full business plan, but that isn't needed at this stage. If it gets accepted then you can trade from The STORE.  The rent starts at £125 a month, including bills, along with access to training, a mentor and specialist advice.
